Welcome to Atlanta!
Most of you saw my posts on Instagram, I was in Atlanta this past week! It was for an event called Millions Conference. It was life changing! For now I will just tell you about what I saw while I was there. We stayed at the Westin in the downtown area. The city was beautiful. Of course we checked out the Martin Luther King church, house and museum. It’s interesting how most of those are still exactly the same. It was neat! We also went to the Georgia aquarium. It is the biggest one in the U.S. and the third biggest in the world. (First two are in Asia) It has sperm whales! I had never seen a whale that big so close up. It was incredible! The whole place was so clean and had so much to offer. I can’t wait to take my kids there! We went to Centennial Park and had dinner with a view at Legals Sea Food. It was perfect! The wind picked up just right to get all the fall feels! Afterwards we headed to the Ferris wheel called Sky View. It was there that we saw Benzino from “Love and Hip Hop” if you’re familiar. Everyone acted as if he wasn’t there. It was a total reality check for us Texas girls. After all they are all just people right??? My next favorite place we went to was the Atlanta Beltline. Wow! It had everything we were looking for! We started at the Ponce City Market. It was such a cute building with a farmhouse/industrial feel. The restaurants there were so unique. If you are looking for great pictures or just beautiful views, the Beltline has that for sure. It is 30 miles long, so that only means we have to go back. One of my most favorite sites I have ever visited, so many people there exploring. Write back to me if you have visited Atlanta and tell me what else is worth checking out!
XOXO
